Vashon Family Feast Returns March 6th
Fun for the whole family!
The Vashon Family Feast returns this year! This fundraiser is a family friendly dinner is a beloved island tradition when all community members are invited to share a meal before the highly entertaining Seniors vs Staff basketball game at Vashon High School. It will be held Thursday, March 6th from 5-6:30 pm in the VHS Cafeteria.
Tickets are limited and will only be sold through Feb. 28! Get yours only from the Vashon PTO website (no tickets sold at the door!).
Enjoy a delicious three-course meal prepared by Vashon's Food Services team, made from-scratch using (some) island ingredients. Don't worry about the kids -- their $10 ticket gets them the same meal or, if they're a bit pickier, they can fill up on pita, rice, and lemon cake :). Something for everyone!
The menu includes one of Vashon School's most popular offerings: their amazing butter chicken! The meal includes:
- Appetizers: Fresh Baked Pita Bread with Hummus, Tzatziki, Olives & Veggies
- Entrees: Butter Chicken with Peas, Butter Chickpeas with Rice, Chicken Shawarma, or Tofu Shawarma with Rice
- Sides: Couscous Salad & Matsuda Farm Salad
- Dessert: Homemade Lemon Cake
A raise-the-paddle fundraiser will also happen during the dinner. Community members can donate toward special requests from students and staff at Chautauqua, McMurray, and Vashon High School.

Save Your Receipts!
We collect Thriftway and IGA receipts from our Chautauqua families that we then tally up and turn in to Thriftway and IGA for a generous donation of 1% of the total sales from those receipts. It's a great way to support Vashon PTO just by doing your normal shopping.
Drop them off at the Orca Pod (the structure just inside the front doors of the school with the daily joke, ball of yarn, etc.) where you will find a wooden box with a label for the Thriftway receipt program.
