A first-of-its-kind night out for a really good cause
Grab your friends, dust off your dictionary, and join us for the first ever Vashon PTO Adult Spelling Bee! This is a 21+ evening of friendly competition, community, and a little bit of chaos, all in support of Vashon's public schools.
Here's how it works: every guest takes a spelling test when they arrive. The top spellers move on to compete, and the crowd gets to meddle. Pay a couple bucks to add a word to a contestant's list. Make it easy if you love them. Make it brutal if you don't. The last speller standing walks away with cash, a trophy, and the kind of bragging rights that last at least until next year.

VIP (Very Important Spellers) Table - $80 | Reserved seating for 4, a round of N/A drinks, and a Pop Pop PuPu Platter. Only 8 tables available, grab yours before they're gone.
General Admission - $10 | Come for the spelling, stay for the community.
All proceeds support family events and community programs across all Vashon public schools.

Save Your Receipts!
We collect Thriftway and IGA receipts from our Chautauqua and McMurray families that we then tally up and turn in to Thriftway and IGA for a generous donation of 1% of the total sales from those receipts. It's a great way to support Vashon PTO just by doing your normal shopping.
At Chautauqua: Drop them off at the Orca Pod (the structure just inside the front doors of the school with the daily joke) where you will find a wooden box with a label for the Thriftway receipt program.
At McMurray: Drop them off to the box in the front office.
